Universal Civil Service

Since 2023, the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere has served as a host organization for the Universal Civil Service and participates in the call published by the Dipartimento per le politiche giovanili e il servizio civile for the selection of volunteer operators with the project CITTÀ COME CULTURA: DALLA CONSAPEVOLEZZA CULTURALE ALLA CONTAMINAZIONE DEI TERRITORI 2026 (September 2026 – September 2027), developed in collaboration with  Arci Servizio Civile Roma Aps.

The Universal Civil Service is a voluntary choice to dedicate up to one year of your life to non-armed and non-violent service in defense of the nation, to education, to peace among peoples, and to the promotion of the founding values of the Italian Republic, through actions for communities and for the territory.

The project is part of the Beni comuni: l’impegno nel presente per un futuro possibile 2026 program, based on the idea that culture and artistic heritage are not only to be preserved or enhanced, but to be experienced as educational and transformative tools. In particular, its goal is to encourage the active involvement of young generations in the world of culture, addressing social and educational gaps and proposing an inclusive perspective that passes through direct participation, creative engagement, and the valorization of differences.

Deadline for submitting applications: April 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
