The relationship between the Pastificio Cerere Foundation and its surrounding territory – particularly the San Lorenzo neighbourhood – reaffirmed itself in the decision to establish, by means of Pastificio_arch, an ongoing enquiry into issues in architecture. The 2013 edition of the project, which was conceived by Marcello Smarelli, was curated by STRATO/Martino Fraschetti_Maria Clara Ghia_Vincenzo Tattolo, who proposed the theme FIND YOUR CORNER, 2.5 x 5. For the duration of a day, the ground surface occupied by a car (2.5 x 5 are the standard dimensions of a parking space) was transformed by the Pastificio_arch projects and thus given back to the neighbourhood.
